Emergency Room Technicians are different from those working on the medical floors in a hospital. ER technicians are responsible for assisting with multiple emergencies, anticipating the needs of the nurses and doctors and having the knowledge to perform splinting, wound care, IV's, procedure set up and assistance, cardiac emergencies, and more.
THIS CLASS PREPARES YOU TO WORK WELL AS AN EMERGENCY ROOM TECHNICIAN AND CLINICS.
PREREQUISITES: MUST HAVE CNA (NURSING STUDENT OR MEDICAL ASSISTANT), PHLEBOTOMY, CPR
Classes are offered in a 7 day period from 9am-4pm Mon-Fri
